I recently upgraded to the newest version of Extensis Fusion 4, keeping up to date with all the newest kit :-). Was all going well until I found it crashes the normally stable Photoshop 5.5. If anybody else has had problems with this I have found a work around . In suitcase go to: Suitcase Fusion 4 > Manage Plug-ins... In there you need to uncheck the box for Photoshop. Although this means reduced functionality it will at least let you run both applications!

I hope this post has been of use to somebody.

Google recently announced that they are to drop support for IE7 meaning that users still using the dated software will soon lose some functionality on services such as Gmail and Google docs. I see this as a good thing as older browsers need to be ditched in favour of newer ones so that web designers can use the newer features in css without having to worry too much about people not being unable to view the content. I still worry about users still using IE 6, though there are not many of them still out there I do still worry about that 3% (stats from StatCounter). What if the person you are trying to sell or talk to is in that 3%. I think all designs have to be legible to the users of older browsers even if they don't look the prettiest!

For more on how Google is dropping IE7 visit the official announcement on blogpost
